Christmas Greetings and Gift Wrapping

It always seems that at this time of year people are friendlier and more giving.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if we were all like that all year long?  We all have our limits to being walked on, but other than that, it's not so hard to be kinder than we think we can be.

Wishing all my blogging friends and followers a very
Merry Christmas

I made a handful of special Christmas postcards for a handful of special people in my life.  I have said before I am hopeless with mass production.  (Two of anything is mass production!)  I made seven of these postcards.  I was already whining when I had six more to go.  But I'm glad I made them.

For the rest of my dear family and friends, I altered a commercially produced card.  I chose this Christmas collage card...no surprise there, eh.

And I added three glittery snowflakes.  The largest on a pop dot for a 3-D appearance.

This too was mass production except that it was in such a simple form that I managed a whole stack without whining.....too much.

I mostly had small gifts and money to wrap.  And I love the "brown paper packages tied up with string" Pinterest photos.  So I took my lead from inspiration in those photos.

I hope the world has a joyous Christmas!

Oh, you did not ask me to sing did you!! I hang my head in shame - I did not make a single thing for Christmas this year. But that doesn't stop me from wishing you joyous holidays and a wonderful 2016!!!

Merry Christmas to you Annie! I hate to make the same thing more than once also, however I have made a few of the same bags or wallets, but at least I changed the fabrics so I wouldn't be so bored. Your cards and presents look so festive.

Every thing you make is so beautiful! Thank you so much for your blog, it brightens my day every time I see it. There's this brown partially shredded paper that is sometimes used as packing in shipping. I love whenever I order something and it comes packed that way. I re-use it as wrapping paper, it looks so cool. I even ordered one time from a company that used it mostly for the packing materials. So, I love the brown paper look too. Have the Merriest Christmas, and the best next year of your life. Love, Carol

That's an original idea to buy a card then spruce it up.
Of course I prefer your hand-made cards. I especially like the second with the jolly snowman and dangling Christmas tree, very festive (in an Annie-art way).
Your packages look very special. I like the white background, that's very effective.

Annie I do always wish that people are kinder to one another...every day of the year. In the meantime I keep doing Random Acts of Kindness and it really feels wonderful. I love your handmade and hand-embellished cards. You are such a dear and giving soul. Merry Christmas My Friend...

Annie, you've hit the nail on the head once again, why can't people be kinder to one another all year round!! Doesn't take much to be thoughtful does it. Of course I just knew that you would create the most lush eye candy for Christmas....I would expect nothing less from the Queen of Crafting ;)
