Altered Dictionary - R

The Craft Barn letter to illustrate in my altered dictionary is R.

I normally look for my letters from the back working my way forward.  This time I decided to see what would be on the first page of the R words.  I couldn't resist adding the White Rabbit to my dictionary.

When I turned a couple of pages, I found a ripped page and wanted to fix that before the page comes out completely.  The raincoat was not going to be enough to save the torn area, so I taped it with ticket stub Washi Tape first...with the idea that one might be going out to the theatre in the rain.

No new words to have fun with this time, but I'm looking forward to the next letter.  It's just fun looking for images to use as illustrations.

:) I enjoy watching your project advance, word by word. Love the text you gave the white rabbit. What fun to go through this dictionary as you fill the pages!

How in the world did I loose my comment!!!! I love the way you do your entries - just enough to make it interesting with color and not so much that you loose the integrity of the page. I gave up on my dictionary - too many pages all glued together and some even fell out!
You seem to know just how much to do with out going too far.

Yes, as Sandy said, you have a delicate touch with this elderly dictionary.
I like what the rabbit said, that's amusing and quite true.
Patching with modern washi tape, great idea, and I wonder where you got the raincoat, it looks very happy hanging in there.

Annie you are so clever - love what you have done here and what a brill save with the raincoat. I worry that with all the stamping and opening wide taking photos my dictionary will fall to pieces or be damaged. I may head over to you for fixing ideas. Annie xxx

Using your dictionary as your substrate just blows my mind, Annie! How very cool (not to mention appropriate!) is that? Especially like the rabbit here and your use of washi tape for repair! Great work!

I always enjoy your amazing dictionary pages. White Rabbit is one of my favorite stamps you have.

Your white rabbit is very impressive. Alice might be following him now. What a great way to fix the torn page. Those pages are so thin, I was impressed with the way you handled it. Well done on both your R (rabbit) and your other Rs (repair with a raincoat).

I love that white rabbit and the note about it being Lewis Carroll's fault he is always late. Two pages this time, well done!
