Summertime

This fabric sailboat postcard sailed the high seas to The Netherlands and arrived quite safely.

A birthday card (that I basically copied from a Pinterest card).

A scrapbook spread from one of my bicycle rides last summer in Wisconsin.

I always wish summertime would last forever.  Just not the 100+ degree days!

Happy Days!

I always love your fabric postcards! This on is especially awesome! Also fun birthday card (even if the idea is borrowed)... As for the 100 degree days, I'm so over them!!! This humidity makes me feel like I'm going to melt! Fall is my favorite season, unfortunately my least favorite follows it!

Oh Annie, is there anything you can't do!!!!! This is my new favorite of your quilted postcard. Love all the fabrics you used - you are quite the designer. How do you chose your fabrics - just go through and pick out the ones you like and then when you have a design you want to do you pick out the fabrics that that express your design? These fabrics are all perfect. I don't know which one I like the best - the waves or the sky. After seeing one of your post cards for real, it is easier to really appreciate one of these beauties when you post!
You must really love doing this -
Love everything about your post today!!

This is such a pretty little yacht on the prettiest of patterned seas under a floral sky. It looks to be quite a choppy sea but the yacht seems to have found a path through it. The blue zigzag edging is just right.
The Birthday card looks great, copy or not, and I expect you have changed the original a bit.
It's good to see you in "Real Life" on your scrapbook page and what a lovely clean fresh page it is, decorated but not much, with the photos that say it all. Love the bicycling postage stamp too, oh it's got the Queen on it, it's one of ours.

I always think of you dear when I see bicycles. Great card and postcard. How fun that it sailed all the way to the Netherlands. Summer is my favorite too and it is gone all too quickly.

I love your sailboat card. Have gotten out my sewing machine so am ready to do.I do have one question for you if you do not mind. Are you seeing strips together to use in cutting your black and white borders. I like to use red and black. You did such an awesome job. I also like your sweet flower card. It is really a sweet one. Hope you have a happy week. genie
