Ready to Haunt

This week's theme on Sunday Postcard Art is LEAVES.

I took this opportunity to get started on a Halloween greeting.

The spooky tree is a stencil, the bats and small leaves are paper punched, the rest of the images are die cut.

This postcard will have to travel in a clear sleeve, so I haven't yet decided how I want to do the back address side.

Happy Haunting Soon!

I have been missing you! Have you been reading up a storm - I know I have! Thanks for telling me about the on line site for books. Now I have more books in my Que than I ever thought possible!
Back to business - Love your post card - it's hard to believe you could get all of this on the size of a post card. Your scene is delightful Annie. Boo!

Oh this is terrific, what a marvellous scene. I don't think I am frightened by this house, it looks as if a good happy witch lives here, she might make delicious Halloween cookies. I like the wallpaper in her rooms and it seems as if she likes it too as she has it upstairs and down. The blue low-sky background with the writing, on the other hand, looks ominous and portentous. Maybe better to stay indoors till it passes.

Right after my September Sister Swarm/Storm/Soiree and all were gone I set out my Halloween decor. I keep it very simple so as to not upset Mr. C. I love seeing my treasures and enjoy the Fall weather. Summer is still my most Favorite! Sweet September Dear...
