Snowflake Christmas Card

I DID IT!  I made handmade greeting cards for the entire year for 2016!  Inspired by my daughter, who makes all her cards, I challenged myself to make the cards I would need all year, and I DID IT!

I wrote out a calendared list and kept to it.  It did get a little dicey from July on, but I managed somehow.

This is my Christmas card.  I knew if I were going to mass produce, it had to be simple.  But I loved this simple elegant card as soon as I saw it on Pinterest here.  Having an Embosser/Die Cutting machine makes life much simpler and funner.

I stamped, then heat embossed the phrase, then die cut the sentiment for the card inside.  That way I was free to mess up without ruining the card.

To say the least, I am quite proud of myself for completing this self challenge.

May you all have a very merry, bright & cheery, happy little Christmas!

I am so impressed. I own all of those toys, I think, I just don't use them regularly. Congrats on the perfect year. And thanks for the great example.

You are a rare, wonderful gal!
These are beautiful and a true labor of LOVE!
We do 1/2 and 1/2 ... embellish cards and hand calligraph the envelopes...our favorite time of year.
Kudos to you! Love the die cutting machines!!! You got the touch! Happy Holidays!

You should be proud because the card looks beautiful! I like the idea of adding the message separate. I just MIGHT have messed up a card or two when I wrote the message inside. I just got a cutting machine and I'm loving it!

I'm very impressed. Your hand-made cards will be appreciated by even those who are not artistically minded because they look so professional, and will be loved by the artistically inclined because you made them so beautifully. I like the freshness of this one and I do like the idea of pasting the sentiment inside, thus obviating the certain instance of writing the words upside down (or worse) in at least one of the perfect cards and then having to make another one.

Merry Christmas Annie! Your card is beautiful. Every year when I buy Christmas cards I think I should make them as I have such a hard time picking them out. They either have a theme I don't like or the saying inside is something I don't care for. I think I need a machine like you have then I might be a little more inspired to try making my cards.

Congratulations on meeting our goal. Your card is beautiful inside and out. I am guessing that your daughter is much like you, talented, artistic and very accomplished.
I wish you a blessed Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas Annie! Your card is stunning, both inside and out. A person would pay a fortune for a box of cards like that. You are so talented.
