May August be a month full of pleasant moments!
The flower petals and leaves are made from those little savings cards sent out by Kohl's Department Store.
A little more detail.
I'm really happy that some extra effort with journaling changed July from ho hum to fun to look at.
Now I'm off to do what I can to fill my August days with bits of pleasant moments.
I hope your days are full of pleasant moments as well.

Love the flower but esp. love the cute little bees. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like July was a pretty good month except for poor Mom. Hope she is recovering nicely.
I love everything you do.
What fun...and great way to use something that would have been thrown away.
ReplyDeleteAdorable.
ReplyDeleteAnnie, August is looking good and what a great idea to recycle those plastic cards into a lovely flower!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I love using "scraps". Very clever and really adorable. I love orange too.
ReplyDeletePS: I love how you did July and have to ask, is this done on the computer or by hand. I can't imagine working on something so small. This is darling.
ReplyDeleteJuly turned out fabulous with no boring about it. Now for August...the best month of the year!! Summer Sunshine Smiles Dear...
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to capture those moments! You make every day special with your calendar art. Love the flower made out of recycled gods!
ReplyDeleteAugust is cute, cute, cute - it looks like you have a fun month ahead of you!
ReplyDeleteAugust really has taken my fancy....I love how you broke it up and added the flower in the midst of the days (looks like a PINWHEEL with it's little button!) and have bees buzzing around! I feel your joy in this art medium ...creating your beautiful artistic calendars to cobine with the journaling.
ReplyDeleteHoping you have a month filled with special moments to recall:)

Such lovely and clever calendars. I love them both!!
ReplyDeleteWell, no one else has said this yet but I think each month is getting cuter and cuter. Your creativity sees no bounds, it seems. One month after another, you continue to awe us with delightfulness in not only color, but by the use of things not normally used the way you use them. Bravo! Want me to save all my Kohl's discount cards for you????? I can, you know!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing! I wish I could have half of your talent or ... a quarter! ;)
ReplyDeleteNow if I could only make paper junk look good.hah.ah.a.ha.a.
ReplyDeleteAll of them just make you want the next month to come!
You are so clever! Love the flower and your layout this month! So creative!
ReplyDeleteI really love your calendars when you have them finished. You know Annie, they are works of art! Now will you do me a favor and really put some juicy stuff in your calendars so I can feel like I am really peeping in your window. Great July page and I hope August will be pretty neat too. It looks like it is starting off that way!!

This is another marvel, Annie. I think August is utterly perfect, couldn't be better. The orange flower in the bottle is superb, and what fun to read how you made it. I like the balance of the horizontal and vertical lines, the fat August lettering and of course the bees, and everything else about it.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I got so carried away by August that I forgot to mention July. Great lettering and fascinating entries, I especially like the 19th, 22nd, 23rd and 27th.
