Halloween Greetings

Halloween art is the most fun for me whether it's with fabric or paper.  I love them equally.  But I've been obsessed with paper crafts lately.  Halloween greetings mostly.  My daughter has inspired me to make more cards.

Postcards are still a favorite mail art and I made a few variations of this one, because this raven stamp is such fun.

A couple of postcards were made similar to this one...made from notepaper I purchased in a gift shop for a Ghost Tour in Door County, Wisconsin.

This creepy Skeleton Lady envelope has been my favorite.  There are real addresses under the paper bits.  Addresses are a fun part of mail art, but privacy is an issue these days.  I like the bits as they add interest to the envelope while protecting the privacy of the innocent.

Wishing you a wickedly wonderful
HAPPY HALLOWEEN

  1. Gosh, these are all fantastic. I would have been happy to see just one, but five - you've had a wonderful arty time I can see.
The ghost and his evil looking pumpkin are a literal scream (great way to make a ghost, very original) and the raven is obviously trying to disguise the fact that he is a raven by wearing what he thinks is a funny hat. "Happy Haunting" is seriously scary (squeal!!), the skellie hands are very grabby and the little birds on the wire had better watchout. I fervently hope I don't meet Skeleton Lady any time soon.
Wonderful artwork, Annie, suitably Halloweeny terrifying.

  4. They are all great! Those first two look like real wood and that gauzy ghost is perfect. And anything with a crow on it is a winner in my book! Happy haunting!

  5. Now that's what I call an amazing array of eye candy Annie! Love them all, Halloween is definitely your favourite and oh boy it shows ;). That reminds me, I used that little cutie ghost on something last year, must dig out the rest of them wherever they're hiding!
    Big spooky hugs

  11. What a treat 5 pieces of great Spooky art. The jaunty angle the crow is wearing its hat just stops it being too grim. Love the cut out house, the white ghost looks as if it has seen something scary these are all great fun
