Happy New Year
cards
Now that traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas are past, I am free to make Annie-style cards to send to my daughter and my friends. The people who don't look at these cards as if I were out of my mind.
So I had a play with postage people. It's been a while. Adolph S. Ochs has been patiently waiting in my stash for a body. The man's body is a Tim Holtz Found Relative card. Adolph went on a trip to Connecticut.
Butterfly lady is still traveling. She came about from a long awaited play time to create in my own style.
Quiet Winter also is still traveling. This card emerged from trying a technique I found on Pinterest.
And then lastly, I needed a Thank You note.
And now for a new year to start fresh again. May 2016 be your best new year ever!

Annie
Annie your cards are wonderful. As I am saving every stamp on every envelope I receive I think of you and how I shall try to use my stash of stamps. These cards give me some great ideas and I thank you for sharing. Now to merely make time to play...after the New Year. With only one day left I have some cleaning and purging to complete. Happy New Year and All Good Blessings Dear...
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful postcards! Let's hope that 2016 is a better year, hugs and best wishes to you.
ReplyDeleteWonderful creative cheering cards to welcome in 2016. Like the Winter Quiet. although we have had Storm Frank here and it has been anything but quiet. Health and joy in the New Year

ReplyDeleteYay so happy to see more Annie postage people! You always inspire me!!! Also I freaking love your butterfly girl! Hope you have an amazing new year!
ReplyDeleteThey are all wonderful. What a great finish for 2015.
ReplyDeleteThese are very much Annie postcard wonders from start to finish.
ReplyDeleteSuper painted background on the first one with the clock waiting for the New Year to strike.
I'm glad Adolph finally found his body after such a long wait, he must be quite relieved, not sure what the Found Relative thought.
Butterfly lady card is exquisite with the lovely subtle colours and a really beautiful design, it's quite a classic.
Quiet winter is lovely and quiet, would sit in a corner quite happily. I would be interested to know what the mysterious Pinterest technique was.
And who doesn't love a snowman, especially an Annie postcard snowman.
Happy 2016, Annie, I love your art.
So glad to see the "Annie" created cards again. I love your postage stamp people! Happy New Year Annie!
