Wow! 2017! Where does the time go?!
I've got a good start on my 2017 handmade cards challenge. January cards are done.
I was after a classy glitzy look for this New Year greeting.
The mail carriers did well delivering this envelope with the large bold year in their way of easily identifying the address.
I liked the subdued color scheme I used and it seemed a good fit for my Grandson's birthday card. I also liked the big bold numbers on the envelope. And I really love getting some extra mileage from a card idea.
May 2017 be our best year ever for one and all!

ReplyDeleteVery nice! I love the bronzey glittered pieces! I MAY...attempt your challenge also.... ( I started a list. Not many people with birthdays so I think I could do it.....)... Despite my struggle with cards..
ReplyDeleteYou make things look so easy. Love the cards! Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best for 2017!

Happy New Year to you and your family! Looking forward to following you in 2017, too.
ReplyDeleteMarvellous cards, Annie, and I think these are a little venture away from your normal (if there is such a thing) style.
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of the 21st birthday card (simplicity to the viewer, not the maker), says what it says and says it well.
I'm also in admiration of your postal service which knows where Jackie and Jamie live, somewhere in the middle of 2017 it seems, haha! And can these really be current postage stamps? - what a marvellous variety you have.
Your first card is undoubtedly classy with the 2017 dark glitter and the glittery clock just about to shout "Happy New Year".
"See" you on the other side!
Beautiful cards Annie. Happy New Year to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean your January 2017 cards are don -- today is the first!
ReplyDeleteYou are so smart Annie!
