June/July Calendar Journal

Another month flies by.  Not really.  Keeping these monthly calendar journals makes time feel like it's going a little bit slower.  I'm always thinking I'm farther along in the month than we are.  That is a nice feeling, I'll tell ya!  But June 2017 is history now.

July is ready for documenting.  It's always a bit difficult to NOT think in terms of a holiday theme during the month.

We are plenty patriotic in every other aspect of our daily life.

  2. I love how you fill up your calendars so creatively. Each month is different and it must be fun to see how it progresses along.

  4. Well you know how I love your angelic handwriting Annie, I could admire it all day. Don't know if you've got the Oxides yet but if you're struggling with your watercolours I suggest trying a couple of them as they make achieving that effect so easy

  5. June looks like a fun month both artistically and in Real Life. I like the way you have made the word "JUNE" (another idea to "borrow") and the stamping (bicycle, birds, butterfly and telephone. I love the background colours too - watercolouring?
Funny that writing in this calender diary makes the time pass slower, that's a good tip.

  6. "calendar". Typos always have a laugh showing themselves just as one presses "Publish"

  7. As much as I love seeing the "clean" calendar at the start of the month I really enjoy reading everything you've made note of during the month. The addition of the temperature readings was very interesting to me, I think I'll start doing that too. BTW, after reading about your adventure with the powder paints (Color Burst?) I opened up my stash of Brushos and played around with them. They are tricky little devils, aren't they?! Thanks as always for the inspiration. Hugs.

  10. That's one of the reasons I like doing the calendars :)
Otherwise I end up at the close of a month or year yelling "What? When did this happen? What have I been DOING all this time?!" lol
