...and now
February 2013
is ready...
I punished myself with the idea of the b&w between the journaling blocks.
But I really like how it turned out. This month, like January, is a mix of fabric and scrapbook papers as well as stickers. The hearts are from Lisa's Altered Art , the envelope and rose are Internet downloads.
I'm quite pleased with the end result of this month. I am having the best time mixing medias to create this journal.
I have been missing doing some scrapbooking. My scrapbooking supplies are not in the same place that I am. Creating this journal is much like scrapbooking for me, so I'm thoroughly enjoying this process...at the moment.
Happy day to you!
Annie
Happy day to you!
Annie
Only 10 more to go. And would that be a reason to go out and purchase some more scrapbooking supplies? I like the b/w between the dates too. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteAnnie, Annie, Annie. This is so very perfect. You are a perfectionist and I LOVE the results. Can't say that about many perfectionists. I'm so inspired to do a calendar page in my art journal now! Remains to be seen if I actually do...but you've got my heart thumping!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT!!! It looks like a month filled with love, chocolate, flowers and happiness.
ReplyDeleteYou are soooooooo good at this stuff!! Both journals so far are just perfect!
ReplyDeleteFebruary is magnificent with all the hearts and the red, and the black and white strips set it off perfectly. And with the rose and the lettering I give it - TOP MARKS!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely win the award for the prettiest calendar--very lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying watching you do this project. I have resisted scrapbooking but you are giving me the idea that it could be done in fabric. That has a real appeal. As always, thanks for sharing your creativity.
ReplyDeleteAll, I can say is, WOW, you rock Annie!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea. I just love your Feb colour scheme.
ReplyDeleteOh Annie, your calendar is inspiring me to do one! I love this, prettiest I've seen yet.
ReplyDeleteGasp. This is fabulous, Annie! How absolutely gorgeous. Excuse me while I search for my dropped jaw. ;o)
ReplyDeleteAnnie, I love this one even more than the gorgeous January one! Wow!
ReplyDeleteOne day if I meet you in person, I think I will just sit right next to you....maybe some of that talent will rub off onto me! LOL
Well looky what I see. I forgot to stitch across the squares on the right page. Nothing like making things more difficult...gotta work around the rose now. Off to take care of that!
ReplyDeleteI really like your scrapbooking/paper version of the calender - bet 99% of the others are doing Kate crane-alike pages. I like the way you have continued the black and white zetti border over both pages but in different ways.
ReplyDeletewhat a perfectly gorgeous calendar spread-LOVE this!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your pages. This is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love your grid system....the black and white is so effective...and looks great with the rest of February's colors!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Your calendar is so impressive. Amazing how that black and white just pops the whole thing. So nice.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely February page. Love the black and white in between the journaling blocks.
