Altered Dictionary - U

This time around for the Alpha Challenge the letter assigned to us for word illustration is U
 
I've selected the word Ulster. 
A great benefit of this project is learning words I've not ever known before.
 
 
 

 Never before have I ever read practically every word in any dictionary...who does that?!  But when this project reaches it's end, that's exactly what I will have done!  Who woulda guessed.

    And we are learning right along with you. Did you hand draw the Ulster pattern - great job! I see this challenge is also to find a word that you can depict with a picture! Double challenge!

    Nice one, Annie, I don't think anyone else will have chosen "Ulster". I like the pattern too. What a lovely vintage dictionary this is turning out to be.

    I love this project and how it stretches us to read the actual dictionary. Wouldn't this be a fun school project for a teacher. If they didn't want to use an actual book they could merely photocopy pages. I have to tell you I actually used your last word selection. I told my neighbor he was very fop. Hahaha...not so funny to him. I had to explain to everyone around. At least I had a good laugh. Happy Creative Hearts Dear...

    Do you use these new words every so often too? I think reading the whole dictionary is quite an accomplishment.

    I only manage to read the letters with fewer words the others I just skip through. U is definitely filled with negatives but your word is great.

    Great word choice.Every time I opened my dictionary after seeing your page the word jumped out at me but prior to that I never 'saw' it. Love how you have done your page - simple but apt.
