I can't seem to get enough of making these little gems yet, so I see no reason to stop.
It's incredibly disappointing to have Gesso as my new friend. I invested so much previous time avoiding it. LOL Now I can't seem to stop using it! It's awesome to use some of these papers that have sat around here for so long and weren't likely to ever be used.
The backsides.
They're still calling to me. I must make more.
xoxo
Annie
They are so cute! If you enjoy something why stop when you do it so well!

OMG!!! These are too cute, what great little treasures.
ReplyDeleteThe fronts and backs are both great Annie. Glad you are having fun making them.
ReplyDeleteThese look pretty addictive to me, I can see you would want to make more and more. Not telling you how to make art or anything, but I think they would look great in a frame, four to a frame, in a four space mount, just saying.
ReplyDeleteSo how to choose today - the bathing belles, certainly, in their colourful costumes, something very different, then the lime butterfly on the pink background because of the colour combination and the way the butterfly looks and the pink string and circle, then the flower because of its simplicity and its lime edging, and the "A" just because. It's a pity about the Gesso thing, but as you get to know Gesso you might become very good friends.
And of course they are terrific at being post-it pads covers.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!!!
ReplyDeleteGo Gesso! Go Gesso! Get your groove on! Go Gesso! :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you two finally met! I knew you'd fall head or heels once you gave Gesso a chance. I love these little note pads. You go girl! I'd love to introduce you to Black Gesso. Talk about a love triangle.
