My favorite Challenge is back!
The Alpha Altered Dictionary Challenge
with The Craft Barn
My most favorite ever challenge and I almost missed it. I did miss getting the first challenge letter into the list of players, but that's no-never-mind for me. I shall play from here and I'm already caught up. This is the only year-long Challenge that I ever finished.
The letter this fortnight is Q
My chosen word is questionnaire.
Last time I chose queen and now this page spread is done. Only like 500 more to go. LoL
To start the challenge off last fortnight was the letter B.
I chose the word bookish.
I'm up-to-date and current now and so excited to be playing this fun altered dictionary challenge again.
My pages aren't much for artsy, but I am getting the look I want for this altered dictionary. I think it's a form of art, just not the way others think of this challenge.

Annie I am so happy to see your altered art challenge dictionary once again. I love what you create on the pages. I love dictionaries ever since I got my very first Webster's for my 12th birthday. I used to read it at night studying words for Scrabble so I could compete with my mother who always had amazing words. Of course she was 24 years older than I but I tried. Creative Bliss Dear...
ReplyDeleteOMGosh. YOU might not think these pages are arty, but I think they are fantastic. I was really impressed with both images, since I missed the first time Craft Barn did this. In fact, I didn't even know Craft Barn existed back then. I am very, very impressed with your art, because I like the clean and simple look you are creating in this dictionary. So glad you joined in because I LOVE your art!
ReplyDeleteI love both pages you've done and enjoy seeing your CAS style. That image for bookish is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your dictionary challenge last time and I know I will enjoy it again to see what you come up with this time Annie.
ReplyDeleteNow this I love Annie because it's unique and different. What a wonderful idea to do it this way,I've said it before but you really are breath taking in your arty genius ;)

Fabulous pages, and it is great to see your previous entries too!
ReplyDeleteExcellent work. Your pages are great and I love the fact you are using the same dictionary - it'll look fabulous by the end of the year!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use your imagination and end up with a wonderful "dictionary of possibilities!"
ReplyDeleteOh, the Dictionary will be pleased it has got out again and is getting attention.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting set of questions, I wonder if they mean something to you. I had to laugh when I came to number 28, it was a bit unexpected.
Your method of stamping and subtly colouring is perfect for this book and it especially likes your interpretation of "Bookish".
What a wonderful idea Annie, somehow I missed your previous altered dictionary pages but I love them all! How fun to just choose a word from the page and embellish as the spirit moves you, love it! Deb xo
ReplyDeleteI am blown away by your pages - they are just fabulous. I don't like things too arty as sometimes they are OTT but yours are perfect. I love your ideas. I missed the challenge the first time round but am really excited to join in this time. I only hope I can do as good a job as you. Annie xxx
ReplyDeleteI love your pages. The image on the B page is great and I like that questionnaire. I have read it twice already. Great work and looking forward to seeing what you do next.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I love the head stamp :)
ReplyDeleteGlorious!! Wonderful pages -- I started a dictionary with them a good year ago. I went to find something for the Q pages and found I had glued all mine together - oh well. So I will do a B page tomorrow and look forward to the next challenge. Thanks Annie, I never would have known about this had it not been for you!!

ReplyDeleteFantastic that you can combine the two challenges. I LOVE your list of questions x
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous pages, both of them.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you here again and discover your pages. As usual - soooooo beautiful. I love it!
ReplyDeletehow wonderful that you're using the same book as last time.
ReplyDeleteI love your pages and what a brilliant idea to use the same dictionary as last time.

Your Q page looks great! There's another blogger I follow who was doing this challenge. I wonder if she still is? (I'm behind on my blog reading.) It's such a great idea but I'd have to find a smaller dictionary than the ones I have. They're both vintage and the one is so huge I use itto press items. lol
ReplyDeleteHi Annie good to see you back, I love the style you have chosen for your dictionary very arty, enjoyed looking at your pages back in 2013 as I'm sure I will during this challenge. Great idea for Question.

ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous pages and I like the clean and simple look which allows all the other words to be read as well.
