I'm hopelessly addicted to creating fun mail!
My daughter's boyfriend put together a very fun mail package for me. I built a thank you card with an assortment of the items along with other supplies I already own. He called it The Clocks and Gears package. The silver foil stuff is something I found that is a 4" roll. I spray glued it to cardstock then embossed it with a gears embossing folder. The heart is mounted with foam mounting dots.
The envelope...
I figured out how to do some of that fun calligraphy using double ended ZIG Writers.
Next is a postcard made with Ms. Skellie and highlighted with a white galaxy marker.
This postcard was a thank you for a gift. The hearts are die cuts and the butterfly is a punch.
This postcard was awfully fun to make. I've lately been scouring through some very pretty used postage stamps that my friend sent to me.
This fabric postcard also was terribly fun to make. Carla waited a good long time for her fabric postcard. I'm pretty sure she probably gave up on getting one. I waited purposely so she'd be surprised. Not really. It was a while before I had an inspiration for her postcard.
And lastly, I had a new motorcycle stamp to play with so a postcard was made for a couple that we get to ride with now and again to go on great little weekend jaunts.
Happy Mail Day!
from your mail art obsessed friend,
Annie

And I am hopelessly addicted to looking at the fabulous postcards on your blog! It's Biker Week/Month here in Myrtle Beach, SC so I can really appreciate that last one. Vroom, Vroom!!
Seriously Annie, you make the coolest cards ever! Love the metal looking one!
What a fun post! I love the metal card and the teacup with the pink hearts. Actually I love them all and I am amazed at how much there is to look at and enjoy on one small card.
I love all your postcards and that first one is stunning. You are so creative. I really like the coffee cup one too. I need my coffee in the morning so I can relate. Great job.
As always your postcards are amazing. Whatever you make is always so wonderful.
I think the mailman (or woman) must love looking at your wonderful mail! These are wonderful!
Your mail art is fabulous, Annie! The first one is fantastic and I adore the fabric postcard, the coffe cup is so cute. I am just loving all the great pieces and the details and of course, your new motorcycle stamp.

What a great collection!
The embossed silver foil is terrific, a super idea, along with the clocks and gears, what a great present.
Oh my, Ms. Skellie, I'm trying to imagine what occasion would prompt sending her on a postcard, ??? But I do like her with her "pretty frock".
Hearts and butterflies, now I could imagine that one coming in very useful indeed, and I like the sketchy heart, and the postcard after, ditto. The writing on the backgrounds gives them added class.
The fabric cup and saucer is just right, with the steam hearts and patchwork background, then a total contrast following with the vroom vroom of the motorbike.
They are all terrific, so I'm not even going to try to choose a favourite as I think they each have their own time and place.
Wow, this post is just full of yumminess!!!! First off, I have to say I still absolutely love Mrs skellie!!!
I think I need to buy her ( and maybe some happy mail with her on it ... ;) haha
