13 "Little Wallets"

Once I got started making this Little Wallet pattern by Valori Wells, I couldn't stop.  I loved making them!  So much so that you could say I was obsessed with making them for four days.

More than a year ago, I was gifted a couple of these wallets by very dear blogger friends.  I've used them and I've loved them.  But I didn't want to make them until now.  And I thought I'd be lucky to just get through one.  Little did I know THIS would happen!  haha

I think there will probably be a few more too.  My title says there are 13 but you only see twelve.  I'm already using one.

So how many ways can these be used?

The usual:
Gift Cards
Credit Cards
Cash

And what else?
I keep condensed medical info handy on my family.
You never know when you might need this info quick.
How about shopping info that's hard to memorize, like sizes, brands, favorite colors.
The annual Christmas shopping list will need to be handy soon.
Coupons
Small Notes Paper

What other ideas can we think of?

Gaaaa! These are so immensely sweet. Love the variety of colours and fabrics and their different insides and they look so well made and sturdy.
Other ideas - I would use them as extra gifts for Birthdays and Christmas and when visiting someone special - only giving to people who would appreciate them, of course. Emergency Parking meter money, tissues or a dainty little handkerchief, packaging for a little present - and I'm looking forward to reading other suggestions.
Vital question - can you give us the pattern link?

These are fabulous! So many different uses. Love all your fabric choices for each one. I would like to make several for gifts myself and I echo Sheila's question - can you give us the pattern link?

LOVE, love, love them!!! I wish I was there…we could do them together. What a great thing for when you don't want to carry a purse! I NEED the pattern…..you might have just inspired me to sew again.

Love them. Pattern is from where? How about enlarging the pattern slightly and making it an envelope. You could stitch the flap shut for mailing kind of like they stitch pockets closed. Hmmmmmm.

My first thought was " what a great way to keep all my quilt shop "punch cards". I never have them where I can find them when I shop. Good ideas in the "comments"too. I love your fabric choices and I too would like a link to the pattern or tutorial.

Annie a friend gave me this pattern years ago and I made several of these little wallets over the years too. They make great gifts. I keep one wallet in my large library bag to hold my library card. They are great for carrying a credit card or money when you want to walk and not carry a large bag. Plus they are addicting to sew and use up lots of small pieces of fabrics. I made all of mine with the non-sew snaps that are the kind you would put in a baby onesie on the inside legs.

I love this wallet too. Have made several for myself and use them all the time. My sewing buddy enlarged the pattern and made a small purse to carry her phone and some credit cards.

Annie, look at you go girl! They are so dang cute. You should open up an etsy shop and start selling. They make such great gifts. Seems like they were like chips once you start you cannot stop!

A for Adorable! They remind of some little fabric purses I used to carry jewelry in when I traveled. Very Asian.

Lovely! Especially loving the blue/green/yellow fabric!!! The look perfect for yardsaling with, taking essentials to school in a back pack, keeping the important car info in (ex. Title and insurance ). Coupons, ATCs, small pack of post-it notes? , postage stamps to keep in purse when you're on the go?, tons of paper uses! :) thanks for sharing these beautys!

Oh, Annie . . . now I'm seeing more . . . I could never pic a fave, although I'm partial to the cancellation stamps! Did you have all these fabrics, or did you buy more? I LOVE the "gift card" idea . . . or just write a special little note inside for that favorite someone . . . or put in a few bucks for someone to tuck away for a rainy day . . .

I love these little wallets! I have a few....my favorite that I'm using now was made by a friend just for me. Has a rooster on the flap. Makes me smile whenever I use it. :) Have fun filling them up.

How divine your little wallet cases are my dear! I bought one several years ago and then I bought the pattern. I have not made even one as of yet and now you have inspired me to get sewing. Yours are wonderful in great fabric combinations. Excellent for the upcoming gift seasons. Creative Wallet Bliss Indeed...

These are so cute in all the different fabrics! I, too, love to make this little wallet!! I put my " most used" cards in this little wallet, and don't have to carry a big wallet around.
