I thought I'd done quite well when I found and bought a small trunk style box for storing my received mail art. And I had. Until Carol's envelopes started getting larger.
And larger.
So back I went to purchase the next size up just for mail art from Carol.
All better now and plenty of room for more!
Good mail day!

This is very amusing and also very touching. How nice to store all the envelopes and cards safely to be able to look at later. Isn't it sad that we delete most of our emails - or does everyone not do that?
Love your storage idea. I know what you mean, I have received a beautiful envelope from Carol and it was bigger than usual but I just
love it....I don't get a lot of envelopes so I plan to frame hers and hang it in my craft room...
How fun to receive Carol's fun mail art and now to have enough room to store them without crowding those uber cute characters she draws. I also like the idea of framing a Carol envelope. Creative Bliss Dear...
Nice that they had a matching trunk in a larger size. I have some precious mail that I have kept too - great idea to have a special home for those wonderful memories.
Love your mail trunks! Bet they will be filled in no time by Miss Carol! Your Halloween quilt in the background is pretty cute!
Lol! How lucky they had a larger one, maybe you should get the next size too. Just in case!
Nice looking trunks, but I am amazed how many envelopes you have collected from Carol. Maybe you should mount some of your favorite envelopes on a foam core board and frame in a poster frame so you can hang it on a wall and enjoy them every day?
You found the perfect solution for saving your special mail - I love the treasure chests!
Those chests are adorable! What a great addition to your sewing and crafting area!
Well dearie, after reading this post, I know NOT to buy 8x10 envelopes for you! lol Seriously, that might just put you over the edge, if you know what I mean???
What a great idea! Love it!!
Wonderful trunks - you are so funny!
Sandy
Maybe start thinking about adding a room addition on to your house... lol
Lovely way to store your precious things!
