May 2016 Calendar Journal and a Snack

And May 2016 went like this:

The 13th and 14th are very personal feelings days, so I'm keeping them private.

There is only June left in this calendar/planner.  It's about time I went back and finished the cover.

Here is a tasty little snack for you.
CROCK POT RANCH OYSTER CRACKERS

To get the ingredients to my liking, I increased the amount of Ranch Dressing Mix as well as the amount of garlic.  I also added the Worcestershire sauce.

Yay Annie you finished your journal! I like the cover and the month of May. Recipe looks yummy, but I gave up eating grains, especially wheat. Don't miss it either. I lost 8 pounds too. Only a few more left to lose to get back into my small jeans again.

I discovered two things by Googling - that crackers are probably our dry biscuits, and a recipe to make a substitute for Ranch Dressing which I had no idea about. And thirdly, a crock pot will probably be a casserole dish - or is it? And you thought this was a simple recipe, and didn't realise it had to be translated first, haha!
I'm also going to wait until you put your calender on Flickr which for some mysterious reason Blogger cannot show clearly, and then I can read all the entries and comment on them.
The cover looks very good, what a great diary this is, just enough to not make it a chore to make an entry every day, but giving the flavour of the days to remember later.

I'm always impressed by your calendar journals. It looks like much fun to make them. But I use my blog as my journal, I think. Too much work to do both. Have nice week! Here we have had a taste of summer this weekend.

And now I can read your words on Flickr. Seemed like you had quite a fun month with lots of eating out. The bicycles rides sound like great fun, but you had temps of 96F! - that seems amazingly hot. A good comfortable chair sounds excellent, almost as elusive as the perfect pen. The 29th sounds like a lovely day, and presumably with your climate you wouldn't need to take a cardi - "just in case" like we always have to do. I also like the colourful patterned fill-in squares and the bright edges.
Thanks for sharing your month, I enjoyed it.

I used to journal everyday, but those days are gone. I need to do it again and your journal looks like an easy way to do it (cute, too!) Can I come over and watch you make me one? LOL I'll bring soup for your crackers.

Love your calendar/journal.
I may need to use your technique instead of buying expensive calendars that have more stuff attached to them than what I want or need.
Only problem is mine won't be as pretty as yours.
