The postcard theme this week at Sunday Postcard Art is "Pieces of Pictures". I'm awfully glad the theme was posted early to give me some time to think about it. Odd theme, it stumped me. In the end I took it literally.
I stamped several of my people stamps then punched inchies from the images. Which gave me "pieces of pictures".
These people, and the butterfly, are my accomplices in my art.
I painted the inchies with Neocolors. I also bravely tried to make a watercolor blob under the butterfly. Not great, but not too awful either. (Otherwise it would be residing in the trash bin) Then I finished with my new punched letters.

Another work of art,Annie! Never throw anything in the bin though....it can always be salvaged somehow ;)
Hope you're okay

Lovely Annie! I don't comment often but really enjoy your posts, seeing what you create. Keep making!
This is stunning! Your result, without seeing the explanation for the theme, came out great! The mix of squares with the other background and foreground elements is fantastic.
I like your literal interpretation. The blob works well.
High class art. And I love it!
This is just too, too clever.
Love how you have coloured each small portrait, love your painterly "blobs" which actually look terrific, love the monochrome butterfly and the background. love the title.
This is a Postcard Masterpiece.
Good for you! If I was stumped, I'd just forget it and not make a thing! Love your creation…..fits the theme to a T!
I really like this card...it totally speaks to me. And love the 'watercolor blob(s)'. Just perfect.
Love this card so much! The watercolor is not a blob, it's creative genius:)
I love this postcard! Now I am really wanting this alphabet punch!!!!! (I also think you did an amazing job on the watercolor blob :) iit looks bright and fun!)
Gor-geous! Very clever.

Great piece (no pun intended). I like your "blobs" too.

I love your art!!! The watercolors under the butterfly are beautiful. How very interestingly you placed your little letters...uber clever and artistic of you dear.
Lovely use of the images! The inchies work so well, they are great fun to make too. The colours work well together.
