Sepia Garden

The Sunday Postcard Art theme this week is SEPIA.

Time to jump in and play.  I pulled several Sepia bits of paper out, cut them up then stitched them together.  After that a splash of color was needed.

And the back is ready for finishing when the recipient is known.

Happy Mail Day!

  4. What a great way to make a collage, cutting up sepia paper and then sewing it together. Sounds easy but I bet it's not.
I just love the sheer artistry of this - the clever way you have arranged the interesting officey type pieces, the darker colours and then the oof of the pink-red flower, like a vase of colourful flowers in a working office.

  20. This one is beautiful...love it! Does sewing on paper mess with your sewing machine? I've never sewn paper except when I was in high school and was learning to sew. The teacher had us sew on paper lines to get the hang of things.
