Money and Gift Card Wrapping

It gets a little harder every year to come up with a different money gift holder from the previous years.  But once again, I made it happen.

I used the 1-2-3 Punch Board to create these envelope style holders for money gifts.  I folded in three sides of the envelope and left one end open.

I then embossed the holders and used a variety of dies to cut the designs for the ornament embellishment.  I used Graphmaster Metallic Brush pens to color the holly leaves green and made the berries silver.  Letter dies to add names.

I embossed in red words from Tim Holtz Tidings Mini stamps then framed them using a cutting die.  I left them long enough to write personal messages on each.  Then I clipped the tag to the money.  A little wired and curled ribbon added to the top with a string to hang and DONE.

For a gift card, I used the Tim Holtz Pocket Envelope Bigz die.

Embellishing the envelope with snowflake dies, and a stamped and embossed Do Not Open tag.  The ties are attached with snowflake brads and tied with a soft blue and white cord.  I spattered white paint for a snowy appearance.  I needed to keep it rather flat to mail inside a card.

WOW. Those are amazing money gift pouches. They are beautifully embossed, too. You must have a ton of dies. I'm truly impressed.

I adore your calendar. Yours is so well put together. I love how you show exactly the right words and emphasize the one that is most needed.

These money gift envelopes are astonishing. There seems to be at least three layers of art and the metallic effects are beautiful and beautifully photographed (metallic can be difficult to photograph). I especially like the lime holly leaves. The gift cards look lovely too. You use your dies so well, way beyond anything.

With almost no time to visit the usual blogs that I follow I always make sure to view your posts. Your latest 2 posts have so much to enjoy as I enlarge and check out all the layers. As usual your calendar inspires me and I am, like Pinky, trying to keep better track of myself. Congrats on being guest artist for December but that is no surprise to your followers. Everything you do and your step by step explanations are just the BEST.
Thank you for taking the time from your busy life to give us something to brighten the day.

Wonderful gift card and money holders. It is getting ridiculous to mail anything with any bulk or bumps. Merry Christmas Dear.

I bet your kiddos loved these!!! Fabulous as always!!! I love that you fo all out on everything! (Meanwhile mine get thrown in plain store bought cards! 🙄) maybe next year I won't be a slacker! I was telling Chad I needed to steal his room as my craft room lol and move everything. Might see about getting my craft room painted if I can get it organized enough...then will have to move everything out if it. Uggg we will see.
